Chrome - Unresponsive message

Fred Topol 11 years ago 0
Sorry - This problem has already been reported.

Since updating to Chrome Version 32.0.1700.76 m, I've been getting a constant message that Sidewise has become unresponsive. How can this message be prevented?

Separate Sidewise window per Chrome Window

Marcos Nolan 12 years ago updated by Wing 6 years ago 3

Trying to use this feature on a laptop or computer with a single screen is problematic when using multiple Chrome window instances, as windows that the Sidewise window is not docked to take up the full screen when maximized, necessitating a click on the taskbar to get back to Sidewise.  An option for a dedicated Sidewise window per Chrome Window would be very useful.

Write date and time as name of the remembered brwosing sessions

Max Muster 12 years ago updated by Joel Thornton 12 years ago 0

Of course I'm talking about the date and time of when that session had been remembered, not the current one! ;)
Would be great!

Dropping text to a free space or on a tab in the tree to open a tab with a google search by the dropped text there

Max Muster 12 years ago updated by Joel Thornton 12 years ago 0

I hope in the title it's pretty much clear what I'm driving at.

Maybe you could be able to choose in the settings if dropping selected text on a tab opens a google search with the text in a new child tab or in the very tab the selected text was dropped on (or you could do this depending on if it's moved with another button like Ctrl pressed)

Please, please, resume the work on the bugs !

BlackWinny 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 1

Please, please, please !

Please, resume the work on the huge bugs which are extremely disturbing on the inconsistencies with the native Chrome tabs.

Ten times per day it is needed to hibernate/rewake the tabs to recreate new tabs and close the other ones which don't match anymore with the native Chrome tabs !

This extension was an awesome idea. But unfortunately it is not followed to fix these very severe bugs !

Being an open source, isn't there any other developer who would like to take it over or to make a fork in order to resume seriously the development ?

Hi ! It would be nice to be able to bookmark all a tree

Jacques Prestreau 7 years ago 0

Hi ! It would be nice to be able to bookmark all a tree. It is probably not very difficult, a parent tab having always the visibility of the list of its children (and grand-children recursively)

Closed tabs don't go away.

EBGJ 7 years ago updated by ernobe 6 years ago 1

When closing tabs, tab doesn't leave the list on the Sidewise window.
