Attach to new window automatically.
If you are working in multiple windows, you have to manually click in the icon to dock the sidebar to that window. It would be wonderful if you could dock automatically to the window that has focus
Huge bug for me: No Sidewise window, and clicking the Sidewise button does nothing at all
Great app! Phone-home IP blocked.
I think the app is great so far. Especially good for a beta, can't wait to see it perfected! Just a note -- MalwareBytes.org blocks the Sidewise phone-home IP because you are serving from Voxility, a host that is known to support spam/malware/etc..
Does not work for TORCH browser anymore!!!
Does not work with TORCH browser anymore.....no matter what I did.
Any resolution to this?
lazy tabs extension blocks sidewise extension
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/aabgbgci...
which prevents tabs from loading until you look at then. This saves memory and time when starting up chrome, especially if you have lots of tabs.
The only problem is that the lazy tabs extension blocks the sidewise extension. It will not open when clicking the button, nor automatically open at startup. If I disable Lazy Tabs, the Sidewise extension starts working again.
The question is whether the pop-up of the Sidewise sidebar uses a mechanism that is blocked by Lazy Tabs, and whether there is another way to do it.
Mimic Opera 12 handling of tabs
That was a unique and very convenient with multiple open tabs feature of Opera.
If it is also possible optionally to close altogether the tab bar in the browser itself - even better. It is not useful with many open tabs anyway and not needed when Sidewise is installed.
Add option to disable repositioning to other monitor
When not using external monitor, Chrome will start with correct window position on the screen but after few seconds Sidewise will move the Chrome outside of the screen bounds, luckily I can do Right click > Move on the classic Gnome taskbar to drag it back.
When using external monitor, similar behavior happens, but this time I see the window on another monitor and can drag it back directly.
I don't want this moving of window at all, I'm fine with wherever I left it, please add an option to disable this feature completely.
grooveshark pane
Please someone tell me how to enable Grooveshark pane in Sidewise. Thanks in advance.
Go into Sidewise Options page. Click the blue 'Toggle and reorder sidebar panes' link. Click the checkbox in the Grooveshark row. You should now see the Grooveshark sidebar pane icon at the top of the sidebar!
