Set Label context menu not available on Mac?

Richard Kaye 6 years ago 0

The feature that allows the user to label a group of tabs does not appear to be implemented on the Mac. I do use this on my Windows systems and find it very useful. Is there some magic trick I am missing? :-)

TIA

Really a great work. A suggestion though: If you could add this feature: If it could highlight with different colours, the last two tabs that were switched to. Like if I am on tab 5 now and I switch to tab 8 and then to tab 9, then it should keep highligh

Really a great work. Very helpful when you have lots of tabs open. A suggestion though: If you could add this feature: If it could highlight with different colors, the last two tabs that were switched to. Like if I am on tab 5 now and I switch to tab 8 and then to tab 9, then it should keep highligting with two fixed colors, my last two used tabs it would be great. This way a user will always be able to switch between last two or three used tabs very easily.

Whitelist type option to keep tabs from sleeping?

Matt 6 years ago 0

Awesome app so far, thanks a lot. One thing I noticed though is it is making my Google Sheets tabs and a couple other things sleep when they are left doing automated things.   Is there a way that you can create a whitelist to keep tabs open?  I need to be able to have API nonsense running for hours on end at times and it keeps shutting everything down and preventing what would have been an entire weekend worth of work last week, for example.

double click prompt

Richard Pickett 7 years ago 0

First - I love sidewise.  It's awesome.  I've used onetab for a long time and I believe I've found it's replacement.  I love closing a window set of 10+ tabs and being able to pull them back up later, blistering fast, and while they are asleep there is no memory drain.

So kudos!!!!

Bug: When I double click a row to open those tabs (which is the option I have set in settings), a prompt pops up asking me "Wake up X hibernating tabs?" - but the buttons of the prompt are beyond the width of the sidewise bar, and they aren't displayed.

Active tabs disappear after closing second window

HHest 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open three tabs in window 1.
  2. Open three tabs in window 2.
  3. Hibernate two tabs in both windows, leaving one open in each.
  4. Close window 2, then close window 1.
  5. Reopen Chrome and note that SW has only two hibernated tab in the window 2 list (bug), while three hibernated tab in window 1 list (as desired).

Note: if one were to reverse the "close" action, i.e. close window 1, then close window 2, then the bug would appear in the window 1 list. My guess is that the auto-hibernating feature works only on the last window close.

Note 2: I found a workaround by closing Chrome via the menu or by the shortcut ctrl-shift-q. Would be great if this could be fixed, however, because I tend to forget to do this :(

Thank you very much!
