can't import the last session

emz0 6 ár síðan 0

Hello.

Sidewise now can't import my previous session : it says that there is an "unexpected u" in the json. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, reinstall chrome, bu it stills buged.

Also, I made a test : save a new session and re-import it... same thing : error with the json. So I lost all my tabs ! Is there a way to restore it, please ?

How to save your folders and layout

Rocket 6 ár síðan 0

Hi, great app. How do I save the layout of my folders and the pages in them? When I restart chrome it's not there. Luckily I had another app that bookmarked all my tabs.

Do I have to setup the folders in Sidewise every single session?

Inconsistencies with the native tabs shown by Chrome

BlackWinny 7 ár síðan 0

Excellent tool that I use everyday all day long and that I'll keep on supporting... but there are permanently tons of inconsistencies with the native tabs shown by Chrome. This tool needs a huge rework on the reliability of its tabs.

fetaures request

Nir Melamoud 7 ár síðan 0

Hi, amazing plugin, love it, few requests that will make it even better

1. the drag and drop to create parent / child relationship is messed up, it does not work well, very hard to actually create the parent child relationship while keeping the order of pages / tabs you want

2. need control over where is the next new tab going to - what folder, I suggest to no folder (root) if I create a folder called shopping , drag few tabs to it, the next new tab sometimes will be auto added to shopping (and sometimes not, depend on the location of the tab) folders are great tobe able to switch quickly between topics, like shopping, work, sports, movies etc , auto adding messing that up

3. auto open folder, when open a new browser to be able to select what folder will be opened automatically (I want to see all the tabs in that folder always) - can be achieved using a chrome built in feature

4. homepage - when closing the last tab via sidewise, reverse to a new tab with reserve name of homepage  and not close the browser

5. dock but folded , add view that the sidewise is docked but folded witha button to extend it and fold it again, while resizing the browser so the overall browser + sidesize will take the same space no matter if folded or not

thanks

Command-W kills sidebar by accident

JCC 7 ár síðan 0

I use command-W to kill tabs all the time.  If the sidebar happens to be in focus at the moment, it's killed instead and has to be respawned.  Can command-W somehow be disabled in the case of sidebar focus?

B&W Icons SUCK!

Bringel Matheus Silva 7 ár síðan 0

I love it. However, I ALWAYS GET CONFUSED AND SAD about hibernated tabs because my mind can't recognize them once their icons are black and white.

After hibernated I want to close all of them, because they get confused and boring.

Would it be possible to change something else in order to differ hibernated from opened tabs?

This is the only thing that makes me try onther extensions from time to time.

Closing the last non-app-window closes all app windows if Sidewise is running

Hans Müller 7 ár síðan 0

I use websites added as Apps with Open as window.

When I have both at least one of those Website App Windows and regular windows/tabs and close the latter, the Website App Windows get closed as well when Sublime is installed and activated.
