Thanks

I LOVE this plugin. Like many others, was waiting for this before completely switching over to Chrome from Firefox.

Thanks for this :) Incidentally, that is the primary reason why I ended up creating Sidewise -- I really wanted to use Chrome but having 100 little triangular wedges along the top of the window just wasn't cutting it!

tab history - jump to previously visited tab

Heinz Schmiedhofer 11 years ago updated by Joel Thornton 11 years ago 0

would it make sense to implement a back/forward behaviour just like within a tab? by that one could easily go back to the previously visited tabs. came to my mind because i am currently dealing with 50+ tabs spread over several windows, and i find it a bit hard to get back to where i was before.

Definitely want to add this. I agree it would be very helpful to have this functionality, and also have it key-bound.

Double click to open new tab should focus the omnibox

dsl101 12 years ago updated by Joel Thornton 12 years ago 4

I like being able to double click in sidewise to open a new tab, but you can't start typing into the omnibox immediately as you can when opening a new tab via the Chrome UI - is this possible?

This should be working as expected in today's new release (2012.11.23.0). Please let me know if it is not working 100% of the time for you now! :)

Sidewise collects grayed tabs

Stefan Stolz 12 years ago 0

Generally I have Sidewise closed and only open it when I need it. After some time I recognize that the tabs in Chrome are flipping. When I open Sidewise it looks like the screenshot. There are a lot of grayed tabs in Sidewise. Some which I closed some time ago and some which are still open are duplicated in gray.

Various YouTube bugs

Chris Morrow 9 years ago 0
Sidewise is interfering with the newest changes made to YouTube. Unless I have Sidewise disabled, the YouTube play/pause button fails to correctly change from one to the other, and sometimes it refuses to pause videos altogether. In extreme cases, only the audio plays, while the video fails to change from the initial image with the superimposed play button.

When I look in the console I see a Sidewise error: "c.getCurrentTime is not a function", originating in a YouTube-related script of Sidewise.

No Longer in Chrome Store - Bring it Back

Hook 3 years ago 0

Please bring it back somehow, I could deal without the auto tab names or whatever requires the extension to pull data from the sites that could violate the chrome store rules. It’s currently unsupported in the chrome store, and I use it religiously. Best tree table that was on chrome, it’s a real shame that you can’t get this extension from the store anymore

Copying and Pasting URLs from Sidewise into Excel

Copying and Pasting URLs from Sidewise into Excel breaks my url into multiple pieces across rows. This has never happened before and have used sidewise for years.

virtual desktop

When using chrome in more than one virtual desktops, Sidewise only appear in one virtual desktop, and it couldn't automatically switch to current virtual desktop(I'm using mac).It would be more convenient with the support of multiple virtual desktop!😄
