Option of import data in append mode

It looks like that import data will replace current data,  can I append only? not replace.

It will help to merge tabs from 2 devices

Hibernate all tabs in a window

Jason il y a 6 ans 0

There is a button to "Close Window" which permanently closes all the Tabs.

I often have Windows that I want to come back to later. I'd like a "Zzz" button to Hibernate all tabs in a Window.

Option to merge 2 sessions

Hello,

I suggest to add an action to merge 2 sessions.

New session on the top of session list

As time goes on, there may be lots of sessions, they occupy the top space of sidewise if still append new session to the session list, can we make new session on the top of list.

(don't want to rehash, hear me out): regarding opening the source

Prof Plum il y a 6 ans 0

Hey I know that this has been mentioned several times, but hear me out, I'm not trying to repeat what's already been said.
In the previous posts people have made you said that you didn't release it because you still had more 'big items on your todo list', and 'code cleanup to do'.

Trust me I definitely understand where you're coming from, I've felt the same way about my projects many many times. But I can tell you from personal experience that that todo list isn't going to shrink, it's only going to grow & the more 'important features' you implement the more code there is going to be to clean...

So if you think you can take the word of someone still suffering from neurotic perfectionism, then do yourself a favor & just post whatever you've got. It is very easy to overthink these things, but the project has clearly gotten to a size that is unrealistic for a single person to handle; the more problems you deal with the more that will pop up... Anyways thanks for hearing me out & have a happy New Years!

button to close duplicate tabs

Prof Plum il y a 6 ans 0

I often find it hard to sift through all the hibernated tabs, a button to close duplicate tabs would be very useful for this

Make an option to ignore previous sessions with # of tabs < some number

Wrong number of monitors

Collin il y a 6 ans mis à jour par Enthriptar il y a 5 ans 1

I love this extension, but I'm having one pretty big problem with it: "Sidewise currently believes you have 6 monitors connected to your system." I have only three. I've tried to get it to detect again, uninstalled/reinstalled Chrome/Sidewise, adjusted resolution and nothing changes it.

This wouldn't be that big a deal, except any time I click on something that opens a new browser window, it opens in one of my non-existent displays. I then have to go to Chrome on the task bar, mouse over the new window, shift-right-click> move to manually get it back on a real display.

If anyone could help with this I would be very grateful. This extension is exactly what I've been looking for for quite a while, and this is the only real complaint I have with it.

TL;DR: thank you; add hotkeys/shortcuts; can't select multiple tabs

Michael Senkin il y a 6 ans 0

hi :)

Thanks for this app, it is GREAT and minimalistic, but:

  1. a small, but annoying bug: when I click over a tab (in sidewise window) and drag (to select multiple tabs), I just switch to tab and loose focus on Sidewise window. Now it's too complecated to select multiple tabs and not loose focus.
  2. Important feature is not implemented: I cannot customize shortcuts/hotkeys, I also cannot customise action on "click once". It would be helpful, for example, if you provide event-binding tool (for example, it could be implemented in JSON, as SublimeText-settings)

Waiting for update,

Michael

'close tabs to right' inside sidewise

Prof Plum il y a 6 ans 0

could you make the right click option of 'close tabs to right' available from sidewise?
