Separate style for a collapsed ACTIVE 'window' node

avelev 11 years ago 0

Your extension kicks ass.

The .ftRowNode[rowtype=window] style should change if that window node is active. When I select a tab and then collapse it, there is no way to tell that is actually the active window node.

BTW I hacked your css to create my own. I don't know if it would survive an update. I know theme support is hard to do but it would be nice.

Hi, nice extension, but it would be nicer (imo) if i'm able to change color of background. I usually watch yt's videos with shaded background

I am tentatively planning to add this as an "in pane" option. Most likely by adding a dropdown arrow-box next to the search box, and clicking to show a menu which includes (among other things) a "Hide hibernated" option.

An option to auto-hibernate tabs after specified time of not being used

There are some such extensions on firefox. Would it take much time to do it here?

This is a planned feature, but I don't have any specific timeline for when it will be added yet.

Hibernate tabs in window does not work after new version

Tomasz Ja 11 years ago updated by Joel Thornton 11 years ago 5

I noticed today that when I right click on window group and select Hibernate tabs in window it does not hibernate them all and close window like it used to be, instead it hibernate first tab and when I click it again it hibernates second one and so on. After hibernating last one windows closes.

Looks like it showed up after a new version

Emergency restore option is amazing.

vaibhav kumar 11 years ago updated by Muntoo Meddler 11 years ago 1

I had some major system crash and when I reopened sidewise, I found that it was not working and I had lost all of the links. Thought of reinstalling it or even removing it. But, tried to look around a bit and found Emergency restore in Advanced Option. You might want to make users aware about this coz losing all the links will force users (who are not willing to look around) to stop using this for once and for all.

And it's a very well thought of and well designed application. Brilliant job!

Hello.

Few bugs:

1. Double click on blank area now opens a new tab, but, focus isn't in the address field.

2. When new tab is opened with ctrl+click, sometimes it appears below the current tab, sometimes it appears at the beginning of the list. Seems pretty random.

3. Sometimes a new tab is not registered and shown (doesn't seem to depend on the page loaded in it).

4. I don't use page hibernation. But, for example, at the moment, I have 10 tabs shown, but it says 'Window (22 pages)'. If I restart Chrome, besides my 10 tabs, other 12 will be shown - they are some random tabs from the past. How can I get rid of them?! Note that I close them either by clicking on X or usint ctrl+w.

Just released the new version which as far as I can tell has fixed all the problems you list. Please let me know if you are still seeing any of these issues!

I believe all or most of these issues will be fixed for the next release. Thanks for the report!
