First of all: Great work! Thank you very much for doing this! I Just donated and i think everybody who likes your extension should do this! My suggestions:

1.) please add a setting to always show the close button on the tabs

2.) is it possible to set the pointer to the url input field of chrome after double-clicking in the sidebar (what opens a new tab)?

1. I will consider adding this. The main thing I need to think through is how fine-grained of control the options should give over which buttons should have which behavior (on hover, always show, or never show). So far I have had requests for "never show any" and your request, "always show close".

2. This should be fixed in the next release.

Ha! Seems I'm not the only one with issue 2. Do you find it 'unpredictable'? My guess is that about 60% of the time, focus is in the right place, but I can't find a pattern.

What I have noticed is that focus should be there - for example if you 'Tab' then 'SHIFT+Tab', focus is right - so it's not like focus is being sent to the wrong control. It's more like the active control is receiving or generating a blur event, so that there isn't focus at all. But it's remembering the tab order of the controls, so this is a quick way to get it back from the keyboard.

Pretty sure I got this fixed for the next release. It seems if I first set focus to the Chrome window that will have the New Tab tab in it, then create the New Tab tab within that window, then the omnibar keeps the input focus. So far, this fix has worked properly 100% of the time here.

Thank you for the bugfix! Works great now :)

to you settings behavior: i think people who use your vert-tabs want to configure many different things. i think nobody is unhappy if you have too much settings :)

The new version (just released) should now guarantee that the omnibar has the focus after creating a new tab via the sidebar double-click.
