Background color

ZimFreak137 fa 11 anys updated by Serge Kosyrev fa 6 anys 4

I love the extension but I use a huge monitor and that big white panel can be a bit distracting among darker windows. I noticed you recognized this about 8 months ago but I was wondering if you've made any progress. Is there anything I can do myself to permanently make the background dark grey and the text white?

Thanks!

I'm putting a "custom CSS" option near the top of my todo list, which will allow people with some level of CSS expertise to modify Sidewise's appearance by entering custom CSS on the options page. I'll also include a few examples for the most common needs, i.e. changing the background and foreground-text colors.

This will be a lot faster to get in than a proper theming system, which is still planned but not for the near term.

I also think that the white background is harder to distinguish from the actual page.

I vote for the background to be the same color as Chrome's default tab bar. When I add a `bacground-color: #eee;` to Sidewise's CSS, it becomes perfect.
