last sessions still shows even when disabled

It appears this is a pretty old bug: https://sidewise.userecho.com/communities/1/topics/206-last-session-is-always-showing-even-though-its-disabled

Maybe it was reintroduced?

It is still happening to me, I have last session saving disabled but it doesn't work. This causes many last sessions to build up from using chrome apps.
